Doing well, together. Episode 1: Optimizing the nursing workforce using hybrid care strategies

National healthcare reports estimate that by 2025, the U.S. will have a shortage of between 200,000 to 450,000 nurses. This scarcity in care teams is being felt by health systems across the country and most are searching for innovative ways to support existing nurses, improve operational workflows, and offload administrative tasks.

Listen in as Jamie Brummell, director of post-surgical services at LMH Health, discusses how their organization is using virtual nursing to reduce the burden on in-person care teams while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care. During the session, he will share:

  • How LMH is leveraging technology to better support their nurses

  • How they’ve weaved hybrid care strategies into in-person workflows

  • Patient and nurse feedback and clinical outcomes from the program

  • Lessons learned and best practices for success
